You always remember your first; first car, first girlfriend, and the first time you saw something on TV and thought “what the hell is that and how can I get one?” But do you always remember the first commercial? You might think you remember the “first Transformers commercial” or the first time an ad for OxiClean popped on your screen, but it might have just been new to you. Chances are it wasn’t the first commercial.


I did some digging on YouTube to find some of the first commercials for the products we see advertised now at least once a day. I also found a couple personal favorites for things that aren’t around anymore (but we all wish they were).

Ingredients for Dry Fruit Ice Cream


angeer dry fruit[fig] 6

milk[without water] 1/2lt

sugar 250gr

cream 100gr

egg 4

essence 1/2 tsp

colour 1/2 tsp

Directions to prepare Dry Fruit Ice Cream


1] first de coat and grind anjeer fruit to paste

2]beat yellow part of egg[no white] ,if u dont want egg to use ,use corn flour or 1/2 tsp baking soda

3]mix fruit paste with egg and sugar .

4] boil milk and cool to room temperature and add above mixture and also add cream ,essence and colour, then pour in vessel

5] then place this vessel in cooker pan with water in it and slowly cook till it is semi solid and cool, and now freeze it till it get tightens and now remove and grind it and serve in icecream bowls and freeze it for about 2 hrs

Dry fruit ice cream is ready

Water Melon Icecream

water melon 1[medium size]

milk 1 lt

sugar 250grm

cream 100grm

milk powder[skimmed milk] 3tsp

custard powder 1 big spoon

essence 1tsp[any one]


Directions

1]boil milk add custard powder ,sugar, milk powder till it becomes semi solid and cool to room temperature.

2]cut water melon,remove seeds and grind to paste

3]to cool milk add watermelon ice cream and essence and beat well and place in icecream trays and cover with polythin paper and place in fridge for about 4 hrs remove and again re grind and place in fridge for about 1hr till ice cream is set.

Ingredients for Coffe Ice Cream

2 c. soy creamer (or any non-dairy milk)

1 ¼ c. soy milk (or any non-dairy milk)

¾ c. fresh, strong coffee or espresso

¾ c. sugar

2 T. arrowroot

1 t. vanilla


Directions to prepare Coffe Ice Cream

Mix ¼ cup of soy milk with the 2 tablespoons of arrowroot and set aside.

Mix the soy creamer, soy milk, coffee, and sugar together in a saucepan. When the mixture has just started to boil, take off the heat and stir in the arrowroot slurry. This should immediately cause the liquid to thicken (not a lot, but a noticeable amount; it will be thicker when it cools).

Stir in vanilla extract.

Set the ice cream mixture aside to cool. Freeze according to your ice cream maker’s instructions.

Variations:

Add-ins: Add in ½ cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate-covered espresso beans during the last five minutes of freezing.

Mocha: Reduce soy milk to 1 cup. Melt in ¼ cup chocolate chips during initial heating phase. For more chocolate excitement, add a couple tablespoons more chocolate chips, or use chocolate non-dairy milk instead of plain.

Kahlua: Reduce soy milk to 1 cup. Stir in ¼ cup Kahlua or other coffee liqueur after adding vanilla.

Matthew Scudder: Reduce soy milk to 1 cup. Add a plug or two of bourbon after adding vanilla

Gobi manchurian & Hakka Noodles: "


Chinese Food” in India is liked by almost everyone. It’s a combination of Chinese recipes with Indian flavors. In cities like Mumbai , Pune etc you will find a small eatery serving this food. This cuisine is basically derived from very well blended Indian-Chinese cuisines. Chinese-Chinese is very different from what we Indians call Chinese. Indo-Chinese uses Indian spices, herbs as well as Chinese sauces like soy, garlic-chili etc. The techniques are also indo – Chinese. Scallions and soy sauce add the much required Chinese touch to these dishes.




Ingredients


2 cups boiled noodles

3 dried red chilies

1 small bunch spring onion

½ cup finely chopped carrots

1 small capsicum thinly sliced

2 tsp garlic finely chopped

2 tbl spn soy sauce

1 t spn chilli paste ( ** can be substituted with Chilli sauce)

2 tbl spn oil

1 t spn Red wine vinegar

Salt to taste


Method:

Heat oil in a wok. When the oil is smoking add the vegetables. Simmer and fry them till almost done. Add soy sauce, vinegar and salt. Now add noodles and mix very well. Serve Immediately.


Gobi Manchurian


Ingredients :

2 cups cauliflower florets

1 Tbl Spn Corn flour

1 Tbl Spn all purpose flour

1/2 tbl spn ginger-garlic paste

salt as per taste

water


Method: Mix all the above ingredients into a thick paste. All the broccoli florets. Cover them all over with the batter and deep fry them.


For the sauce:

1 tbl Spn soy Sauce

1 tbl Spn tomato ketchup

1/4 tbl spn chili sauce

a little vinegar

Method: Mix all the above ingredients. The sauce is ready.

Method

Sprinkle the gelatine over half a cup of water and leave to soak.

Mix the cocoa, vanilla and milk.

Heat the milk mixture and bring to a boil.

Lower the heat and simmer for a minute.

Mix the gelatine into it and simmer for half a minute.

Mix in the sweetener.

Pour into individual serving bowls, and leave to cool and then to set in the refrigerator.

Garnish with the milk powder and almonds and serve chilled.

Aloo capsicum

Ingredients:


1 big capsicum


1 big onion


2 potatoes


1 tomato


1/2 tsp coriander powder


1/2 tsp cumin powder


Salt


1/2 tsp turmeric powder


1/2 tsp chilli powder


1 tsp garam masala


1 tbsp kasoori methi


1 tsp oil for sabzi


150g oil for deep frying potato


1 tsp chilli sauce and tomato sauce


1/2 tsp red food colour

Method


1. Chop all the vegetables into big chunks.


2. First deep fry the potato and keep aside.


3. In a kadai, fry onion, capsicum and tomato till well cooked.


4. Now add fried potato, turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder and mix well.


5. After 5 minutes, add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and kasoori methi and mix well.


6. Cover and cook for 3 minutes.


7. Add some tomato sauce, chilli sauce and food colour and mix well.


8. Your delicious sabji is done.


9. Serve hot with roti or paratha.

Ginger Pickle Recipe

Use the following ingredients to prepare or make Ginger Pickle recipe at home.

100 gms ginger

1/4 tsp mustard seeds

1/4 tsp fenugreek powder

1/4 tsp asafoetida

salt to taste.

2 tsp red chillie powder

Procedure

Wash ginger,grate ginger finely.After grating the ginger, it is better if you soak for 5 min in water,and drain.

Take 4 tsp oil and add mustard seeds.When it splatters, add fenugreek seed powder and asafoetida.

Add grated ginger, salt, red chillie powder and fry well till the moisture is gone and it becomes a non-sticky paste.

Use the following ingredients to prepare or make Brinjal Pickle recipe at home.

250 gms Brinjal

1/4 tsp Turmeric powder ¼ tsp.

50 ml Vinegar

50 gms Jaggery

100 ml Oil

Salt to taste

4 cloves Garlic

1″ piece Ginger

5 Red chilies

For Powder:-

3 Cardomoms

1/4″ Piece Cinnamon

2 Cloves

4 Peppercorn

Brinjal Pickle Recipe Making Procedure


Wash and dry brinjals and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.

Heat oil and fry ground garlic-ginger-red chili paste and turmeric powder for 3-4 minutes.

Add brinjal pieces and cook till almost done.

Grind cardamoms cloves cinnamon and pepper corns into powder.

Sprinkle with powdered spices and set aside till cool.

Store in a air tight container.

1. Cut Brinjals like flower and micorwave it for 6 to 7 min (Or) Add grinded masala into the cut brinjals and fry it in oil..

2 Grind all Masala..

3. In pan put oil fry Onion,Chillies until onion turns to Golden Brown color. Add masala and fry it for 5 min, Add Tomato puree ,Tamarind Juice to the content.

4. Then add microwaved brinjals to the content and fry it 5 min and then pour 2 cups water and boil it for 10 min in sim until oil comes on top .

5. Add coriander leaves to the curry and enjoy mouth watering Nune vankaya with hot rice with Sambar combination.

Butter – 110 gms Sugar – 65 gms All dry fruits – 600 gms Eggs – 1 Apple – 1 Bread powder – 25 gms Cream – 20 ml Baking powder – 5 gms Coriander powder – 3 tsp Flour – 60 gms

Dry Fruit Pudding Recipe Making Procedure


Initially mix sugar in butter and later egg white. Now add flour and baking powder together and add the soaked dry fruits, grated apple in flour mixture. Add rest of the ingredients in this mixture. Later boil some water in a wide pan and put off. Now put the pudding mixture bowl in that wide pan. Take this pan to oven and bake it at 160 degrees. Now the tasty dry fruit pudding is ready.
